Your 3-Minutes-A-Day Self Healing Solution!

What if you could make measurable progress toward health and wellness in just 3 minutes a day? Would you do it?

Imagine for a moment that you want to learn a particular self-healing skill: To do so, you begin learning-by-applying for just 3 minutes a day. As you become more adept, within a matter of days, you begin to reap the benefits of your activity. You may experience more ease in your daily living; activities may become noticeably more manageable; and you may also notice an uplifting sense of joy in your day-to-day activities: Even your relationships benefit.

Imagine you desire more effective pain management in order to carry out more of your daily activities in comfort. Perhaps you desire to overcome fatigue in order to enliven your day-to-day moments. Perhaps you would like to better manage medication side effects.

All these goals ARE achievable! You just need to begin learning a skill set that will readily bring them within your day-to-day experience – and not just “learn” the skill (in your head), but learn it from within your entire bodymind, so the skill becomes second-nature.

That, however, brings me back to my original question: If you could indeed cultivate such benefits, first-hand, in only 3 minutes a day . . . would you bother to carry out the activities?

The reason I ask is very simple – You see, there is a certain segment of our population who seek the “quick fix”, and they will even pay a hefty price to acquire it; yet, they are stunned when they realize the fix doesn’t just happen to them or for them. If you’re one of those folks, stop reading here, as I really don’t have a “miracle” treatment for you.

I’ve been coaching people with chronic illness (including myself) for over 2 decades; and to a person, those who have consistently applied the self healing tools learned in our coaching sessions, have benefited in precisely the ways outlined above – more energy, less fatigue, less intense pain, uplift in mood, even fewer medication side effects – often (in concert with their primary care provider) even fewer medications. You can (and will) too!

What I offer those I meet face-to-face is the same information I offer you now – a praxis (i.e., skilled application, an established practice), a skill-set that can and will set you on the path to the health and wellness benefits you desire and have been seeking for so long! You simply need to be consistent and determined to apply your newly-learned skills at least 3 minutes each day – to create a new “habit”. You put in the daily activity and you will indeed begin to experience positive results; but you do need to follow the simple plan I describe below.

Over recent months, I have shared articles with you, each of which teaches you an effective self healing tool. Those articles have described such practices as “optimizing your breathing for optimal performance”; rediscovering the “Self” who heals; rooting-out “un-healing” language; and “shared intentional healing™”. The only thing you need to do is to take one of those skills, and begin applying it for just 3 minutes a day.

Then, to begin experiencing meaningful health and wellness benefits, you will need to allow yourself time for learning the skill experientially within – creating an internal habit; AND you need to keep at the practice for 21 to 27 days. Since NASA studies of astronauts in the 1960’s, it has been repeatedly shown that skilled ability occurs through consistent repetition over 3 weeks or more; and is lost if that pattern is broken – requiring you to re-start a new learning cycle.

Therefore, the fastest way to learn is to practice consistently, every day, over days – preferably 21-plus days. And it is easy really, because you have proven yourself so good at this type of skill acquisition since infancy: It’s the same thing you did when you learned to walk . . . to talk! You played with it a bit each day, day in and day out; and the bodymind automatically took care of making those neural connections for you, as if by magic! I instruct you now to “play with” your Self Healing skill development each day!

This is not a race. As you are able to be gentle with yourself, applying the skill becomes easier and easier over the first few days; more automatic: Soon you do begin to notice subtle, but powerful benefits of applying your newly-learned skill each day. One of the ways you will know things are percolating within is that you begin to truly want to do the activity each day: In fact, you’ll notice the bodymind comes to expect it. You may even begin applying your new-found skill multiple times throughout your day.

In the process (just like when you learned to walk and run, ride a bike, swim or read), you once again trust your Self to learn. Trusting-Self becomes a key self healing benefit in and of itself! Once one skill is acquired, you apply this same 3-minute solution to the next skill . . . and the next: Soon, you realize the benefits that now may only seem like distant dreams. But I assure you, self healing is a skill-based process of learning and trust, learning and trust . . . learning and trust . . . over and over, from this day forward!
